Thousands of Excel files, searched in one pass

Linkly AI now supports Excel and CSV. To let an agent search the spreadsheet data on your machine, you no longer upload files one at a time — thousands of Excel files can be searched and compared where they are. We also reworked the built-in OCR: it now schedules recognition models to balance speed against quality, for an average speed-up of more than 3×.

1. Spreadsheets are indexed now

From this release, .xlsx and .csv are parsed and added to the index automatically. Each worksheet becomes its own outline section, so an agent can read the header rows straight from the outline and land on the right sheet and the right row.

The CLI and the skills package have been updated in step.

2. OCR schedules its models, averaging a 3× speed-up

Built-in text recognition now samples the page first, then picks a model to match. Simple layouts are parsed faster, while complex ones automatically get the high-accuracy pass. The wait for a stack of scanned PDFs to reach the index is noticeably shorter.

On macOS we also fixed the system throttling the app once it moves to the background, so background parsing keeps running at full speed.

3. A new What's New card

From this release, the main window shows a What's New card when you restart into the new version, so no new feature goes unnoticed.

The crash report window also gains a "Download the latest version" button. If a crash is keeping you out of the app, upgrading is worth a try.
